The Abha team regained the taste of victories following two consecutive defeats in the Saudi League, and achieved an exciting victory over Dhamak 2/1, today, Friday, in the thirteenth stage of the competition.
Damak advanced with a goal scored by Farouk Shafei in the 114th minute, then Abha equalized with a goal by Nawaf Amer Al-Saadi in the 54th minute.
The match almost ended in a draw, but Saleh Al-Omari snatched the winning goal for Abha in the final seconds of the match.
Abha cleared the dust of defeat in its previous two matches once morest Al-Ittihad and Al-Ettifaq, raising its score to 19 points in sixth place, while Dhamak’s balance froze at 18 points in eighth place.
