Abu Dhabi: «The Gulf»
Abu Dhabi University honored the winners of the “Emirati Threads” competition, which saw the participation of eight teams comprising 26 male and female students from the Interior Design Program at the College of Engineering at the university. The competition was sponsored by Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company as a platinum sponsor, and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel as a gold sponsor for the competition, which included three main categories focused on furniture design and artwork inspired by Emirati heritage and Expo 2020 Dubai.
This came during a ceremony honoring the winners, which was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Sultan bin Suroor Al Dhaheri, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company, Charalambos Milonas, Executive Vice President of Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company, and Christian Hoon, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi.
