Early this Wednesday morning, around 7:40 a.m., an accident involving a single vehicle occurred on Avenue Paul Pastur in Bouffioulx (Châtelet). A driver, driving his Citroën, was traveling a little faster than the authorized speed, lost control of his vehicle while performing an overtaking maneuver on a bend and ended his race in the vegetation on the side of the road.
Luckily, the driver escaped with a few scratches and got out of the wrecked car on his own. An ambulance from the Hainaut-Est rescue zone came to the scene of the accident to examine the driver. He refused to be taken to a hospital.
The Aiseau-Presles/Châtelet/Farciennes police zone also went on site for the usage reports. The Mani Car depanneur in Châtelet took charge of the evacuation of the damaged car.
