Eisenstadt/Vienna – In a needs analysis by the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences, two thirds of the nursing staff surveyed from all over Austria stated that patient care is suffering from the lack of staff in the hospitals. There are not enough staff for adequate continuity of care. The majority of those surveyed would also like to be more involved in decisions made by hospitals, said the Department of Health at Burgenland University of Applied Sciences.
