In Australia, found the body of activist James Walters, who spoke in support of Russia, reports RBC with a link to the Daily Mail. According to the publication, Walters was also an associate of the “Australian Cossack” Simeon Boikov, known as a supporter of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to the publication, 42-year-old Walters was found dead on May 23 in the northern suburbs of Sydney, ten days following his disappearance. He was last seen in Chatswood.
Law enforcement officials said police found nothing that would indicate suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
At the same time, Simeon Boikov told the Russian media that Walters “had received threats from the Ukrainian diaspora.”
