The son of the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov, sixteen-year-old Adam, was appointed curator of the Sheikh Mansur battalion, which is part of the Russian Ministry of Defense. State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov reported this on his Telegram channel.
“Introduced to the personnel of the Sheikh Mansur battalion of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation their new curator, Hero of the Chechen Republic, head of the security service of the Head of the Chechen Republic. This is Adam Ramzanovich Kadyrov,” told Adam Delimkhanov.
Delimkhanov noted that the new appointment was a natural result of Adam’s significant merits. He added that during the ceremonial part, Kadyrov’s son was awarded the star number two of the Sheikh Mansur battalion. “Star number one was previously awarded to the head of Chechnya,” Delimkhanov clarified.
In November 2023, Adam Kadyrov was awarded the Order of Merit for the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR). Previously, Kadyrov’s son received job title head of the security department of the head of Chechnya.
