The Movement for Settlement in Southern Lebanon began advertising luxury properties for Israeli settlements in southern Lebanon on September 29.
Uri Tzafon, which translates to Arise, O North, aims to further strengthen the occupation of southern Lebanon by marketing land and residential units for purchase. Prices start at 300,000 shekels (US$80,000).

According to their website, the extremist settler group is calling for the deportation of residents in southern Lebanon. This is to build Jewish settlements on expanded Israeli land.
In a clear demonstration of the settler colonial project, the ad ominously continues. “We are one strategic decision away from this dream of continuing to destroy southern Lebanon and not letting its people return!”
Lebanon is mentioned in quotes throughout the website. The country is often referred to as a country that doesn’t really function. This was done in the organization’s attempt to delegitimize Lebanon’s sovereignty and the humanity of the Lebanese people. (TRT World/Z-2)
