Adviser to the President for Health: The completion of the vaccination of 40 million Egyptians by the end of next December

Dr. Muhammad Awad Taj El-Din, Advisor to the President for Health and Preventive Affairs, revealed that the third dose that the health called for everyone who has been over a year since receiving the two doses of the vaccine, even from another vaccine, does not have any problem, explaining that there is a big difference between mixing vaccines and receiving the dose. The third is from another vaccine, continuing: “Research has proven many things, for example, some of them have proven that there is no problem, and there are other researches that have gone that if a vaccine is taken once and the other is of another type, the immune bodies may be stronger in this case.”

Taj El-Din stressed, in a telephone interview during the “A Last Word” program, presented by the media, Lamis El-Hadidi, on the “ON” screen, that the goal of vaccines is to give the body immunity against this virus.

On the readiness of preparing doses of vaccines to give a booster dose, Awad Taj El-Din said: “We have enough to start with that.. and the Egyptian epic, under the auspices of President El-Sisi, in providing vaccines and from multiple sources, in addition to the local manufacture of one of the types, made us ready to go for that.”

Taj El-Din revealed that by the end of this month or early November, we will have 60 million doses of vaccine, enough to vaccinate those who did not take the vaccines or those who receive the third dose.

The advisor to the President of the Republic explained that the number of Egyptians who received the vaccine approached the barrier of 18 million Egyptian citizens, saying: “I expect that we will reach the vaccination of 40 million Egyptians by the end of 2021 due to the obligation of groups of society to receive the vaccine with strict instructions that dealers in government agencies and their employees must be vaccinated.”

Taj El-Din continued: “The vaccination related to the Corona virus is very similar to the seasonal influenza vaccination in its effectiveness, as its effect lasts from 6 months to 9 months and a maximum of a year,” adding: “All clinical and clinical trials applied around the world after vaccination proved that the vaccinations that were given With two doses, the third stimulant or booster dose can be given, or re-vaccinated, whatever it is called.”
