A new name for a AEW tag team has been revealed.
Tony Khan on social media officially revealed the new name for Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne going forward, now being referred to as The MegaProblems.
The two originally weren’t teaming together in the tournament to crown the first-ever AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, when Penelope Ford suffered an injury and had to step out, Shafir was named as the replacement. The two went on to defeat TayJay in the opening round and now will meet the Timeless Love Bombs (Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa) in the semifinals this coming Wednesday on Dynamite in a Hardcore Holiday Death Match.
At Full Gear, the two teams along with Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron and The Sisters of Sin met in a four-way match with the winners getting to choose the stipulation for their semifinal match. Storm & Shirakawa emerged victorious, thus leading to the death match stipulation.
