The authorities of the municipality of La Apartada, south of the department of Córdoba, confirmed the discovery of the body of Roger Aldemar Álvarez, son of the former councilor who bears his name, who had disappeared since last Wednesday.
The Police indicated that the body was found on the grounds of the La Campana farm, located on the road that leads from La Apartada to the municipality of Ayapel, where it was sighted by peasants this Friday morning.
They also pointed out that he had several impacts from a firearm, but that until now the causes of the homicide are unknown, which is why they began an investigation process that will allow them to clarify the fact.
With regard to Roger Aldemar’s occupation, it was established that he worked as a co-newspaper and his family reported that he had not received threats.
They indicated that he had gone out to do trips related to his work to the municipality of Ayapel and they did not know regarding him until they were told that they had found his body, with signs of violence.
