Al-Marsad newspaper: Yesterday, the battered grandmother of Ms. Mona Al-Sharif, underwent an operation for fractures in her hand, which lasted 9 hours, in a hospital east of Jeddah.
For her part, the battered’s sister said that Mona underwent surgery on Sunday for the fractures in her hand, where a plate and a screw were installed in her elbow.
She indicated that she will also undergo eye surgery in the coming days following losing her sight in the right eye, indicating that the vision in the left eye is simple and requires intensive treatment for a period of no less than a year, according to “Akhbar 24”.
She added that her sister’s psychological condition had begun to improve, explaining that her sister asked everyone not to forget her prayers, especially in the month of Ramadan.
And the Jeddah Governorate police arrested a citizen who assaulted his wife, which led to her being injured, and imprisoned her inside the house.
