Asma Sharif Mounir underwent a new photo session, and her photos were published on her official Instagram account.
“Asma” appeared wearing a “wig” and a pink dress, imitating the famous doll “Barbie”, and commented, saying, “Be Barbie, has anyone seen Ken?”, and the comments were closed.
“Asma” sparked controversy among social media users recently following she revealed that she had completely cut off her hair, to face many criticisms. Her father, the artist Sherif Mounir, published a video clip on his Instagram account in which he defended her, saying: “My daughter did nothing wrong.”
“Asma” explained the real reason behind cutting her hair completely, saying: “First, the story came regarding by very coincidence, and it was a very spur-of-the-moment and emotional decision, and I do not regret it. The second thing is that I do not do this to create a trend, but I knew it would become a trend. There is a big difference between wanting and knowing. The idea of this trend is a curse and not a nice thing at all, but I will not get into this controversy now.”
