The Ministry of Health and Population commented on some mothers’ concerns regarding children’s use of a steam inhaler, which some of them may get used to.
The ministry published what looked like a conversation on the “mamiz” group regarding this information, when a woman asked regarding the safety of the steam device, to which another replied, “Don’t listen to the doctor’s words and put it on this device, so that he will get used to it and he will continue to do steam sessions all his life.”
The Ministry of Health responded by saying, “What is being circulated regarding your child’s continued use of a steam inhaler for life following using it for the first time is false information, and if the doctor prescribes the use of the device to treat your child, there is no need for concern.”
