Omnia Tariq, known in the media as “The Bride of the Lake”, commented on the news circulating on social media regarding her divorce.
She told “Masrawy” that all this news is not true, adding that social networking sites are not the right place to take news from, adding: “From God, social media.”
Umniah became famous when she appeared in a video during her marriage contract recommending several commandments to her husband, in which he stated: “I am confident in our Lord and in you that you will be the best bond and the best friend. In my eyes, you put my family in your eyes, the little one before the big one, and with all due respect to all, my mother, then my mother, then my mother, I will not leave my family with the easy one.”
The video sparked a case of seriousness at the time, before other news spread today and yesterday, stating that her husband had divorced her, which she denied.
