The Lebanese artist, Ahmed Kaabour, released a new song entitled “Shi Faw Al Hadd”, composed by him and inspired by the poem “Ma Bahwa Hadd” by the late poet Omar Al-Za’ni, who died in 1961 and was known as “Moliere of the East”.

Al-Za’ni’s words in the song simulate the conditions of Lebanon these days, with the deterioration of the economic situation and the political stalemate, which is evident in the failure to choose a president for the country since October 2022.

The song’s video clip was drawn by designer and painter Rafik Hariri, while Saad Kaabour animated the work. The music was arranged by Mazen Seblini.

Kaabour previously presented the works of the late poet Omar Al-Za’ni in 2011, when he presented an album titled “Ahmed Kaabour Sings Omar Al-Za’ni”, which was appreciated by the public.
