AI Assistant Revolutionizes Search for New Administrative Units in Vietnam
In a groundbreaking move to streamline the transition to Vietnam’s new two-level local administration model, an artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant has been deployed. This innovative tool aims to provide citizens with quick and clear information on the newly established administrative units, making the process more accessible and efficient.
Announcement Ceremony Marks a New Era
The announcement ceremony for the implementation of the local administration model at two levels underscored the significance of this strategic shift. The new model is seen as a vision of the party in accordance with the popular will, designed to enhance governance and public services. This administrative reorganization is also expected to act as a strategic lever for foreign direct investments, fostering economic growth and development.
Viettel’s AI Assistant: A Game-Changer
Developed by Viettel’s artificial data and artificial intelligence center (Viettel AI), this virtual assistant is accessible for free on computers, tablets, and smartphones. Users can simply connect to the designated address and formulate their questions in a dialog box to receive instant answers. The system’s linguistic platform, designed specifically for Vietnamese, ensures a high level of understanding and accuracy, boasting a response rate of over 90%.
“This tool is the result of 48 hours of uninterrupted work by our engineers,” said Nguyên Công Thang, a specialist at Viettel AI. The assistant offers a comprehensive guide on new administrative units at provincial, municipal, and district levels, including resolutions from the Standing Committee of the National Assembly.
Precedent and Future Implications
Previously, on June 14, Viettel AI launched another virtual assistant for civil servants, specializing in questions related to decentralization and the distribution of skills. This assistant is based on a database of 28 decrees and processes requests concerning 2,700 specific tasks, remaining available 24/7. These initiatives highlight the growing role of AI in public administration and its potential to improve service delivery and citizen engagement.
