Ajax offers a glimmer of hope to Manchester United over the Anthony deal

Dutch club Ajax has softened its tone towards the player’s future AnthonyManchester United is looking forward to securing his services this summer.

But the club’s technical chief, Jerry Hamstra, refused to rule anything out, giving Manchester United a glimmer of hope.

“We want to keep this group together, I suppose no one is leaving this union anymore,” Hamstra said in comments published by the English newspaper “The Sun”.

“But of course you can’t say ‘never,’ I’ve learned that now,” he added.

“But we also talk regarding it with the players, and we also have conversations with the boys who might want to leave.”
