UAE: A fire broke out in a 30-storey residential building in Ajman. Hundreds of families, including Malayalis, were evacuated from the building. No casualties were reported. The fire broke out in the second tower of Ajman One Towers residential complex at midnight. The occupants of the building were completely evacuated within an hour.
The Civil Defense managed to bring the fire under control before it spread to other nearby buildings. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
