The fact that such an anti-employee idea was brought up by the Minister of Labor of all people and before Labor Day (May 1) is profound.
Across the country, qualifications and skilled workers are more in demand and sought following than ever. Instead of finally implementing sustainable concepts for this, the Minister of Labor is apparently rolling plans on how to dismiss employees more quickly. “The equality of the notice periods for workers and employees must not be touched,” said Wieser. The AK NÖ President emphasizes: “We judge every government by what it is willing to do for employees. With this federal government, the balance has so far been fatal,” said Wieser.
