A short while ago, the condolences of the artist, Alaa Abdel-Khalek, began at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed, in the presence of the family and friends of the late artist.
He was keen to attend and perform the duty of condolence, the artist Mohamed Mounir, the artist Akram Hosni, and Hossam Hosni, and a number of relatives of the late and friends from the artistic community flocked to the mosque to offer the duty of condolence.
Among the first attendees were the artist Simon and his close friend Ahmed Ayoub, Hisham Abbas, Hamid Al-Shaeri, May Farouk, Ramy Sabry, Salah Al-Sharnoubi, Helmy Abdel-Baqi, Sameh Yousry, Ismail Farghali, Ihab Tawfiq, and composer Amr Mostafa.
The great singer Alaa Abdel-Khalek passed away at dawn yesterday, when the artist Hossam Hosni announced his death through his Facebook account.
His funeral and prayers were held at the police mosque in Zayed, and a number of his colleagues in the artistic community participated in it, including Ihab Tawfiq, Hamid Al Shaeri, Ahmed Ayoub, Muhammad Mohi, Hussam Hosni, Hussein Othman, Khaled Munib, Sameh Al Soreiti, Haitham Nabil and Khaled Nabil.
