Al-Aqsa Mosque: The moment the Israeli forces clashed with the worshipers
The Israeli police published video clips showing the moment they clashed with Palestinian worshipers inside Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem.
The police say that they carried out a pre-dawn raid following what they described as “agitators” barricaded themselves inside the mosque and threw fireworks, sticks and stones at the police.
Video clips posted on social media showing Israeli security forces violently beating people inside the mosque sparked widespread anger and condemnation, especially as this coincided with the month of Ramadan and the Jewish Passover holiday.
