The Department of Municipalities and Transport – Abu Dhabi announced the reopening of the Al Bateen Ladies Club, today, following carrying out comprehensive renovation works. The club, famous for its rich history in providing a distinctive and special environment for women and children, was transformed into an integrated health and entertainment complex for them.
The department confirmed that the club’s services are distinguished by providing the best amenities that emulate the level of international services, including a club dedicated to children and a padel court, in addition to a private beach and a swimming pool equipped with spaces designated for relaxation.
This is in addition to a spa and fitness center fully equipped with equipment and halls dedicated to practicing all types of sports, in addition to the presence of shopping areas and an arena for holding events equipped with an outdoor cinema screen.
Hamda Al Hashemi, Acting Director of the Urban Design Department at the Department of Municipalities and Transport, said on the occasion of the reopening: “Al Bateen Ladies Club has always been an essential part of Abu Dhabi’s cultural fabric, and all the renovations undertaken in it came with the aim of consolidating its rich history while providing modern and advanced equipment that meets the needs of today’s society.” .
