On Saturday, the Under-16 League competitions for the new sports season 2022-2023 started, and 15 teams will participate in the tournament following the withdrawal of Al-Najma Club, and the teams were divided into two groups:

The first group includes Atletico, Salam Zgharta, Al-Hikma, Tripoli, Shabab Al-Sahel, Al-Huda, Al-Shabab Ghazieh and Advanced Sports, while the second group includes Al-Safa, Al-Ahly Brothers Aley, United Lebanon, Al-Ahed, Al-Tadamon, Tyre, Al-Ansar and Sporting Al-Kalila.

In the first matches of the first group, Atletico fell at home to its guest, Advanced Sport 2-3. Advanced Sport Zain Zahrman and Jawad Abbas scored two goals, while Atletico Omar Khoury and Elia Bejan scored.

At Nejmeh Stadium, Al-Hikma defeated Shabab Al-Sahel 2-0 with goals by Ralph Haddad and Joseph Henein.

And on its land, Salam Zgharta fell to its guest, Shabab El Ghazieh, 2-4. Ghazia Mohamed Moghrebel and Fadl Fahseen Wahshin Ramah scored two goals.

In turn, Al-Huda defeated Tripoli 4-0 at Al-Huda Stadium. The goals were scored by Jihad Harkous, Rayan Moukarzel, Karl Jabbour and Hamza Tarhini.

With these results, Al-Huda, Al-Salam Zgharta, Al-Hikma and Advanced Sport shared the lead of the standings, respectively, with 3 points for each team, with Al-Hoda’s goals preference.

And for the account of the second group, and on its home side, Al-Tadamon Tire fell in front of its guest, Al-Ahed, 0-3. The goals scored by Muhammad Haider, Louay Kawtharani and Muhammad Suleiman.

At Bhamdoun Stadium, Sporting El Kulaila defeated Al Akhaa 5-1. Sporting a few scored Hassan Daher, Jalal Kassab and Ali Abboud triple.

United Lebanon defeated Al-Ansar 5-0, in the match hosted by Eleven Football Pro Stadium. Aliko Chedid, Emilio Negm and Alex Nehme scored a triple record for United Lebanon.

At the end of the first week’s matches, United Lebanon, Sporting Al Fewda and Al Ahed shared the lead of the group, respectively, with 3 points for each team, with the goals advantage of United Lebanon.
