Saudi press reports revealed that the Saudi Al-Nasr Football Club had reached an agreement with Senegalese international star Sadio Mane and Bayern Munich, to buy the remaining period of the player’s contract and transfer him to Al-Nasr Club, following all the financial details had been agreed upon.
The sources said, in exclusive statements to the Saudi newspaper, “Okaz”, “Al-Nasr was granted a specific time limit until Wednesday to provide the requirements of Sadio Mane and his Bavarian club, and by the expiration of the specified period, the agreement is considered null.”
The source did not reveal the amount that the Saudi club Al-Nasr will pay to buy the remaining period of Sadio Mane’s contract, Mohamed Salah’s former colleague in Liverpool, England.
Journalist James Bing, who works for CBS Sports, wrote through his Twitter account for social networking that “Saudi victory is approaching Sadio Mane, and the Saudi club submitted a request to the Saudi Ministry of Sports in order to finance the deal.”
He added, “The purchase of Mane will be for 40 million euros to Bayern Munich, and 40 million euros net of Mane’s salary, and the contract will extend for three years.”
