In a strategic move that reflects its administrative prowess, the management of Al-Nasr Saudi Club has strengthened the ranks of its first football team, by extending the contracts of its prominent local players.

This successful policy confirms the club’s commitment to maintaining its fundamentals and strengthening its walls with national talent.

Al-Nasr was able to secure the continuity of its central defender, Abdel-Ilah Al-Omari, and the midfielder, Ali Al-Hassan, in addition to the brilliant young face, Ayman Yahya, thus strengthening its front and back lines.

According to what Al-Riyadiya newspaper reported on Friday evening, the club’s management also renewed confidence in Sami Al-Naji, the Saudi international star and the team’s game architect, by signing a new contract extending until June 2028, awaiting this step to be officially confirmed in the next few hours.

Al-Naji, who is 27 years old and a graduate of Al-Nasr Academy, rose to the first team in 2015 following going through various stages within the club, including loan experiences with Al-Qadisiyah and Damac.

During his career with Al-Nasr, Al-Naji was able to score 21 goals and assist 15 others across 127 official matches, recording an unforgettable mark in the various tournaments in which the team participated.
