The Saudi team paid 60 million euros (just over 65 million dollars), the Portuguese club announced on Tuesday, which is another record for the Saudi first division.

FC Porto “reached an agreement with Al-Nassr for the definitive transfer of the registration rights” of the player, the Porto club specified in a statement.

Otaviao signed with Al Nassr from Saudi Arabia, where he will accompany Cristiano Ronaldo.

“It’s hard to leave the club following nine years here,” but “it’s the cycle of life,” the 28-year-old reacted in a video posted on the Dragons’ website.

The Portuguese international, born in Brazil, came to Porto in 2014 from Brazilian SC Internacional and became a footballer with an important role within the club that said goodbye today.
