Alawar has announced the closure of its gaming section 20 years following its inception. The warning appeared on the official website of the publisher.
From May 31, 2023, it will no longer be possible to buy or download any video games on the Alawar website. Purchased activation keys can be used until June 1 – following that they will be invalid. All of the publisher’s games will be available for purchase on Steam following the site closes.
Alawar is a game developer, distributor and publisher. The company was founded in 1999, and in 2003 launched its own video game platform, which distributed various casual games for PC and mobile devices. Studio Alawar released “Farm Frenzy”, two parts of Beholder and other titles.
