Chisinau – Albania’s national football team will take part in the European Championship finals next year. A 1-1 draw in the Republic of Moldova on Friday evening was enough for the Albanians, coached by Brazilian Sylvinho, to avoid falling out of the top two in their group. Sokol Cikalleshi (25th) secured the sixth game in a row without defeat in the European Championship qualification with a penalty converted in the first half, Vladislav Baboglo (87th) only managed to equalize in the final minutes.
