The municipality of Saint-Gilles is extending its order prohibiting the consumption of alcohol on the street in certain neighborhoods. She also decided to extend the perimeter in the Gare du Midi and surrounding areas. Taken last June, the order is extended for the next three months.
“The ban on the consumption of alcohol in public spaces, as well as the closing of businesses at 1 a.m., only within the perimeter of the station, completes all the measures taken as part of the action plan for the Gare du Midi”, explains the municipality. Which specifies that it is first a question of stopping the consumption of alcohol in the street before issuing fines.
