Alexandre Geniez wins the 4th stage of the Tour of Rwanda cycling

Frenchman Alexandre Geniez (TotalEnergies) won the 4th stage of the Tour of Rwanda on Thursday February 24, his second success following the prologue won on Sunday. Geniez (33) beat another Frenchman, Pierre Rolland, once once more offensive, on arrival judged uphill in Musanze (north). Angel Madrazo (Burgos), who crossed the line in a small group clocked in at 20 seconds, dispossessed Axel Laurance of the leader’s jersey that the Frenchman had worn the day before. Angel Madrazo is classified at the same time as his next, the Eritrean Natnael Tesfatsion, the winner of the Tour of Rwanda 2020. On Friday, the fifth stage, 152 kilometers long, links Musanze to the capital with the climbing of the wall of Kigali 8 kilometers from the finish.
