The Chilean actor Alfredo Castro won a new award at the Platinum Awards, this time as Best Supporting Male Performance for “Karnawal” and sent a message to the Government of President Gabriel Boric
The Chilean received his statuette in Madrid this Sunday, achieving his third Platinum Award following triumphing in 2018 as Best Male Performance for “Los Perros” and in 2021 as Best Male Supporting Performance for “El Príncipe”.
“I never imagined it, I am very moved”started off saying Castro upon receiving the award, and thanked Juan Pablo Felix, Colombian director of “Karnawal”.
“(I want) to ask the Government of Chile, my new President, funds for culture so that we can continue creating”Castro expressed on stage.
