The athlete only years later admitted why she announced a boycott of public life. In an interview with a YouTube channel Max NewsMaker the star of rhythmic gymnastics said that she threw all her strength into raising children. Now Kabaeva is more involved in training young athletes and developing her academy “Heavenly Grace”.
