All I want for christmas is you: Mariah Carey poursuivi pour 20 Millions pour plagiat

Mariah Carey is sued for 20 million for having used the title “All I want for christmas is you” by another artist.

Andy Stone, co-writer of a version that was released in 1989, a few years before Mariah Carey released her famous song, decided to take on one of the most popular songs of the holiday season.

According to the complaint, which TMZ got a copy of, the song even had some success with the music video in 1993, all a year before Mariah Carey unveiled her version.

This isn’t the first time two artists have released a song with the same name.
