Dammam | Officials announced in a press conference that the third season of Alleppey Premier League Cricket Tournament organized under the auspices of Saudi Alleppey Sports Association will be held on 22nd and 23rd at Dammam Gookha Flood Light Stadium on the occasion of Saudi National Day. Eight franchises representing different regions of Alappuzha district will compete in the league.
The tournament will be accompanied by arts and crafts and fancy dress competitions for the expatriate children of the Eastern Province, song mela at the opening ceremony, light and sound show, march past, panchari fair and presentation of various art forms invoking the unique cultures of India and Saudi Arabia.
Saudi- Alleppey Sports Association Patron Shibin Dileep, Vice President Balu Biju, Jan. Secretary Sudhir Nazimuddin, Media Convener TM Ziyad, Program Convener Siraj Karumadi, Treasurer Avinash, Joint Secretary Jorvin G George attended the press conference.
