Gorakhpur – Husband shows wife to friends for money and liquor in Uttar Pradesh. He used to torture his wife constantly following marriage and later brought his friends to the house. The girl was threatened by shooting a video of her friends raping her. The incident came to light when the woman lodged a complaint with the police stating that her husband and friends had been sexually harassing her for the past six months.
They got married last November. The young woman, who came from an economically backward family, was harassed by her husband over dowry. He was an alcoholic and later started coming home with his friends. The husband asked the woman to share his bed in exchange for money and alcohol. When she resisted, the girl was beaten up and her friends gang-raped her using force.
Unable to bear the harassment of her husband and friends for six months, the woman approached the police. A search has been launched for the absconding accused.
