Armando Pereira will soon be able to walk the streets of Lisbon. The former associate of Patrick Drahi, at the center of a huge corruption scandal which has shaken the Altice group (SFR, BFM) since this summer, paid a bail of 10 million euros to end his house arrest , announced his lawyer Monday.

“We are only waiting for the judge to confirm the validity of the payment of the bail, and from there Armando Pereira will be able to move freely,” lawyer Manuel Magalhaes e Silva told journalists, leaving the Lisbon court in charge folder. According to Portuguese media, this would be the largest bail ever required by a court in the country.
