America reveals the effectiveness of the “Moderna” vaccine for infants

On Friday, the US Food and Drug Administration revealed the effectiveness and safety of the vaccine once morest the Corona virus, produced by the “Moderna” company, when used for children, including infants.

Reviewers from the US Food and Drug Administration said that the “Moderna” vaccine appears to be safe and effective for use in children between the ages of 6 months and 17 years.

The announcement came during a meeting of a panel of scientists this week to vote on whether to recommend the controlled use of the vaccine in children.

In summary documents published Friday evening, FDA reviewers said the vaccine elicited a similar immune response in children compared to that observed in adults in previous trials.

The administration indicated that “the available data support the effectiveness of Moderna’s vaccine for COVID-19 in preventing symptoms of “Covid 19″ in children age groups from 6 months to 17 years,” according to “Archyde.com”.

Some countries in Europe have limited the use of Moderna vaccines to younger age groups, following some studies have shown that they are associated with an increased risk of heart infection.
