The duel America vs. Chivas for a ticket to the Quarterfinals of the Champions Cup already has days, times and stadiums defined by Concacaf.
The two duels of the Round of 16 will take place in March and will begin at Chivas’ home, the Akron Stadium. The return leg will be at the Azteca Stadium and not in the Ciudad de los Deportes, the venue where América received Real Estelí.
The azulcrema team left Real Estelí on the road following losing the first leg in Nicaragua (and with that, also being undefeated this season), the most criticized game at the moment by André Jardine in the year.
On the other hand, Guadalajara had no problems accounting for Canada’s Forge in their First Round series with a 5-2 win on the aggregate scoreboard to earn their right to play the Mexican Classic at the Concacaf level.

It should be noted that in the eliminatory stage, there will be a tiebreaker by away goal. If equality persists following these criteria, extra time and penalties will be taken.
-The first leg will take place on Wednesday, March 6 at 9:00 p.m. Central Mexico, 10pm ET, 7pm PT.
-The return will be on Wednesday, March 13 at 8:30 p.m. Central Mexico, 10:30 p.m. ET, 7:30 p.m. PT.
