American actress and model Raquel Welch has passed away at the age of 82

Radio France International reported today, Thursday, that “Joe Raquel Tejada” was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1940 and grew up in California, where she won teenage beauty pageants and later became a local weather news anchor. She also became famous following her performance in the movie ” One Million Years BC”, produced in 1966. Welch has appeared opposite Hollywood greats such as James Stewart, Frank Sinatra, John Huston and Burt Reynolds.

It is noteworthy that she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Comedy Actress for her role in the movie “The Three Musketeers”.
