American Insurance is going to the Coast (it celebrated its 60th anniversary with the announcement of expansion)

Last Friday, Seguro Americano celebrated its 60th anniversary in an emotional ceremony held at the SODRE National Auditorium. The event not only recalled the institution’s long history, but also marked the beginning of a new stage with the announcement of an ambitious project: the construction of a new service center in the Interbalnearia route area, a commitment to accompany the demographic growth in Ciudad de la Costa.

During his speech, the director of Seguro Americano, Frank Torres, highlighted the importance of this new center for the community and the historical relevance of the institution. In a conversation with InfoNegocios, he said: “We have recently acquired a plot of land of more than 4,000 square meters on the Interbalnearia route, where we will soon begin the construction of a new Polyclinic with all the services necessary to serve the population and which will also have a 24-hour emergency service,” highlighting the lack of a service of this nature in an area in full development.

According to Torres, the project, which already has three high-level architectural studios working on its design, is in line with Seguro Americano’s commitment to innovation and quality in medical care. Although no images of the project were presented during the event, Torres assured that progress will soon be announced, demonstrating the team’s dedication to continuing to provide excellent service.

This new center will join the already extensive network of Seguro Americano facilities, which over six decades has evolved from surgical insurance to becoming the first private health insurance in Uruguay, with national coverage thanks to the incorporation of the FEPREMI network of 22 medical institutions throughout the country 30 years ago. In fact, another of the announcements had to do with a 1,500 square meter extension planned for the clinic on Ponce Street.

Torres emphasized that this growth is not only an institutional achievement, but also a reflection of the spirit of service and professionalism that characterizes the company and all its employees.
