After inaugurating the first stage of the Olmec Refinery in his homeland, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador assured that in six months, the Deer Park refinery in Houston, Texas, has had profits of more than 50% of its cost, so that this year will be paid.
When rendering his report on the occasion of his fourth year of his electoral victory, the federal Executive indicated that like the Olmeca refinery, Deer Park will refine 340 thousand barrels per day.
“In six months profits of more than 50% of its cost have been obtained, that is to say, this year that refinery will be paid for with a capacity to process 340 thousand barrels per day just like this refinery.
“To this we must add that we say restart the construction of the Tula coking plant, which had been stopped with an investment of regarding 2 billion dollars”, he added.
