AMS Osram Increases Senior Loans to 1 Billion Euros due to Strong Demand: Latest Financing News

Zurich (awp) – The senior loans of a total of 800 million euros announced last September by AMS Osram will ultimately be increased to 1 billion euros due to strong demand, the Austrian-German company said on Thursday evening.

The first loan has a total amount of 625 million euros with maturity in March 2029 and an annual rate of 10.5%. The second amounts to $400 million with a maturity in March 2029 and an annual interest rate of 12.25%.

The loans will be issued on or around November 30. The proceeds from the loans will be used in particular to repay a loan of 450 million dollars and a loan of 850 million euros.

AMS Osram has also concluded an agreement with Commerzbank to extend a current account credit of 100 million euros until June 2026.
