Golden Globe winner Amy Adams will star in Kornél Mundruczó’s new film At the Sea, writes Deadline. The film’s script was written by Kata Wéber, who also wrote Pieces Of A Woman in 2021. Pieces Of A Woman was also directed by Mundruczó. This was the Hungarian filmmaker’s first production in a foreign language. You can read our review of the film here. In Pieces Of A Woman, the Mundruczós worked together with stars such as Vanessa Kirby, known from The Crown, or Shia LaBeouf.
Deadline understands that filming will begin in June in Boston. At The Sea will be regarding the life of a once famous and successful woman who has to face the challenges of her life.
