On July 11, 2019, a fire broke out in a house located at 1263 rue Saint-Joseph in Shawinigan. The blaze was quickly brought under control by the firefighters, but more than three years later, the dilapidated abandoned building is still accessible today to anyone willing to take the trouble to step over some rubbish.
