An Amazon distribution center arrives in Belgium: more than 50 jobs to be filled

The center of Gera in Germany

E-commerce giant Amazon announced on Thursday that it will build its first Belgian distribution center in Antwerp. More than fifty new direct jobs will be created there. The center will be established in the “Blue Gate” commercial area and should be operational by the end of the year. Amazon will not take care of the delivery, which it will always entrust to independent partners such as bpost. The amount of the investment is not known and the company does not wish to speculate on the construction of other centers of its kind elsewhere in Belgium.
