The text that legislates on respect for Human Rights in the exercise of public functions was also sanctioned.
The National Assembly (AN) approved in ordinary session this Wednesday, the Reform of the Organic Law against Racial Discrimination.
“The Reform of the Organic Law against Racial Discrimination is declared sanctioned and must be sent to the National Executive, for the purposes of its enactment,” said the president of the National Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez.
During the debate, it was assured that more than 4.5 billion people in the world suffer extreme poverty and discrimination in third world countries.
In 2011, the creation of this law was proposed and it is when new rights are enacted towards ethnic groups and races like nowhere else in the world, and places Venezuela as an advanced country.
With this they seek to prevent people from being able to enter premises due to their condition, skin color or clothing.
