Last week in Beaujolais (central France), French police found a man hanged inside his room, next to him a set of his personal papers. After investigations, it was found that they belonged to the Algerian artist Marouane Bereni, who had been missing for more than two months.

The announcement of the identity of the person who was found dead on October 12 in an uninhabited farm was delayed until it was confirmed through genetic tests.

Investigations indicated that a collision occurred between a car registered in Perini’s name and the car of a 37-year-old woman, which led to the driver fleeing and the latter sustaining multiple fractures and complete disability for a month, and pointed to a possible relationship between the accident and Perini’s death.

The prosecutor explained that the initial results of the autopsy were “consistent with death by hanging,” but stressed that “investigations are continuing.”

It is noteworthy that Perini is famous for playing the role of the lawyer “Abdel Fadala” in the series Plus belle la vie between 2009 and 2022.
