Member of the Democratic Gathering, Representative Bilal Abdullah, said that “the expansion of the arenas of confrontation is linked to the internal situation,” considering that “in Israel’s escalation in the south yesterday, there is an attempt to lure the expansion of the arenas of war to attract Western, and specifically American, support.”
In an interview with “Voice of All Lebanon,” he stressed “the need for everyone, especially Hezbollah, to show the necessary wisdom to keep Lebanon away from direct confrontation and keep the conflict Palestinian-Israeli,” noting that “Lebanon is in an unenviable situation, and the elements… Our resilience as a people in light of collapse and disintegration is not great.”
Abdullah pointed out that “it is not possible to predict the course of the coming days, and whether the war will last long or not,” linking the matter to the action of the countries directly concerned with controlling the conflict, most notably the United States, Russia, and Turkey.
