Congress leader Anand Sharma has resigned as the chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Steering Committee. In his letter to Sonia Gandhi, Sharma said that self-respect cannot be bought. It is known that the reason for Anand Sharma’s protest was that important decisions were not announced when the assembly elections were coming up in Himachal.
He also stated that he will be in the field of election campaign. Earlier, senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad had stated that he cannot take over the chairmanship of the Jammu and Kashmir Election Committee.
