Asunción, IP Agency.- The National Electricity Administration (ANDE) carried out preventive maintenance work this weekend at the Itakyry Substations and Hernandarias Industrial Park, located in the department of Alto Paraná.
The work was carried out within the framework of the improvements in the Electrical Transmission System carried out by ANDE focused on its 2024 annual maintenance plan to ensure better electrical service for citizens.
The tasks consisted of preventive maintenance of the electromechanical power equipment of the line positions at the Itkyry substation and the Parque Industrial Hernandaria substation.
Likewise, maintenance was carried out on the 2 220/23 kV transformer of the Parque Industrial Hernandarias substation, which supplies energy to the entire district of Hernandarias and other surrounding cities.
On the occasion, control measurements were carried out to know the status of the power equipment, and tests of the control, measurements, communications and protection systems were also carried out.
The actions were carried out by officials of the institution and are part of the Annual Maintenance Plan for Stations and Substations that make up the National Interconnected System, for the improvement of the country’s transmission system, ANDE reported.
